These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the MapMe Contest (“Contest”) hosted by Ferdinand Werner, developer of the MapMe app (“Organizer”).
By participating in the Contest, you (“Participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
- The Contest is open to individuals aged 18 and older or with parental consent, where legally required.
- Participation is void where prohibited by law.
- No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
2. How to Participate
To participate, you must:
- Create a public post, video, blog article, or other creative content that references MapMe.
- Share your content on a publicly accessible platform (e.g., social media, public blog, or community forum).
- Clearly mention “MapMe” and include a link to https://mapmeapp.com/contest.
- Keep your content publicly visible for at least 7 consecutive days after submission.
- Submit your entry via the official form at https://mapmeapp.com/contest.
Submissions must be original, created by the participant, and not violate any third-party rights.
3. Rewards
- Rewards are granted based on the type and effort of the submitted content, as outlined in the reward tier table on the Contest page.
- Rewards do not stack. You are eligible for one reward tier, based on your highest qualifying submission.
- Organizer reserves the right to deny rewards for entries that violate rules or appear to be inauthentic, spammy, or misleading.
4. Raffle
- All eligible participants will be entered into a raffle.
- Winners will be selected at random and notified by email within 7 days after the Contest ends.
- Raffle entries do not stack. Each participant receives one entry regardless of the number of posts submitted.
5. Content Guidelines
- Submitted content must not contain:
- Explicit, hateful, or discriminatory content
- Political or religious messages
- Plagiarized or AI-generated material (unless explicitly disclosed and permitted)
- All content must comply with the content rules and community guidelines of the platform it is posted on.
6. Rights and Usage
By submitting content to the Contest, you grant Ferdinand Werner and MapMe a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, and share your submission in the context of promoting MapMe. This includes:
- Display on the MapMe website
- Promotion on social media and newsletters
- Inclusion in marketing materials, videos, or app store content
You retain ownership of your content.
7. Data Collection & Privacy
- By entering the Contest, you agree to provide your email address for the purpose of communication and reward delivery.
- You also agree to be added to the MapMe email newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time.
- Personal data is processed in compliance with GDPR and will not be shared with third parties except as required for fulfillment and legal obligations.

8. Duration
The Contest begins on 01.04.2025 and ends on 30.04.2025, unless extended or modified at the Organizer’s discretion.
9. Organizer’s Rights
The Organizer reserves the right to:
- Modify or cancel the Contest at any time
- Reject or remove any entry that violates these Terms
- Resolve disputes and interpret these rules as necessary
- Disqualify anyone attempting to game or abuse the system
10. Liability Disclaimer
The Organizer is not responsible for:
- Technical issues, platform outages, or submission errors
- Content removed or hidden by the Participant or the hosting platform
- Lost communications due to incorrect or inactive email addresses
Participation in the Contest is at your own risk. Rewards have no cash value and are non-transferable.
