I am looking for an artist capable of helping me create Assets simmilar to game assets. Those assets are supposed to be used in the App I am creating called MapMe. The Assets needed are the following categories.
I am currently developing an app called MapMe that is designed to help Dungeon Masters and Game Masters create battle maps for tabletop RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, and similar games. These maps are scenes that can house potential fights in the game, and they are created on an iPad using fingers or the Apple Pencil.
The main goal of this app is to provide users with a variety of creative options for including different elements in their gameplay. This includes a range of objects, terrains, and more. While the focus for now is on a fantasy or high fantasy setting, plans are in place to expand to other RPG settings like sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, and more.
The design style for the assets should be clean, crisp, and easy to read. When a user looks at a design, they should be able to immediately tell what everything is. I am leaning towards a comic or concept art style that adds a bit of depth to the elements. However, I am open to your creative interpretations as well.
For your reference, I have included examples of what these assets could look like below. I look forward to seeing your creative interpretations.
When it comes to numbers, we will be looking at probably 10 to 25 tiled textures, up to 100 of these tile paths, and a wide spread of different objects in different variations, reaching possibly into a thousand objects to get started.
This will not be a one-time project, but rather I will have recurring projects if the app is successful with the potential to possibly create not one of those asset packs, but rather 20, 50, or even 100 with different themes that we can bring out over a long period of time.
